Getting Started

Opal Loyalty Club is our members’ rewards programme, designed to recognise and celebrate the people who dine, drink, and gather with us most. Every visit earns you points, every point brings you closer to your next reward — and membership unlocks a world of exclusive offers, experiences, and benefits across our partner venues.

Download the Opal app, create your account, and you’re in. Complete your profile, add your email address, and opt in to marketing communications to unlock a bonus 200 points (£2) on top of your welcome reward.

None. Opal Loyalty Club is completely free to join.

As a welcome to the club, you’ll receive 300 points (£3) credited to your account after your first eligible scan at any partner venue. From there, the more you visit, the more you earn.

Earning Points

Simply scan your Opal app at any partner venue when you pay. Points are credited automatically based on your tier and the amount you spend.

Your earn rate depends on your membership tier:

  • Bronze — 1 point per £1 spent
  • Silver — 2 points per £1 spent
  • Gold — 3 points per £1 spent
  • VIP — 4 points per £1 spent
  • Business — 3 points per £1 spent

Yes. During the first 14 days after installing the app, you’ll earn double points on your first visit. A great reason to make that first reservation count.

Yes. Completing your profile and opting in to communications earns you 200 bonus points. Adding your membership card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet earns a further 100 points.

Tiers & Progression

Opal has five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, VIP, and Business. Each tier reflects how much you engage with our partner venues and unlocks a higher earn rate on every pound you spend.

Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers progress automatically based on your cumulative spend. Your app home screen will always show how much you need to spend to reach the next tier, so you can track your progress in real time.

VIP and Business memberships are by invitation and assigned manually. If you qualify, you’ll be notified directly. These tiers carry exclusive benefits and an elevated earn rate to reflect your relationship with us.

 Tier status is reviewed periodically. If your activity falls below the threshold for your current tier, your membership level may be adjusted accordingly. You’ll always be notified if this happens.

Redeeming Rewards

You can redeem points directly through the Opal app at any partner venue. Simply choose how many points you’d like to use at the point of payment — partial redemptions are welcome, so you’re always in control.

Every point is worth 1p. So 100 points = £1 off your bill. The redemption rate is the same across all tiers.

Redemption details will be confirmed within the app. You can choose to redeem all your points, or save some and use a portion — entirely up to you.

Expiry details will be displayed within your app account. We recommend keeping your account active to make the most of your membership.

Onboarding & Account Setup

Once you’ve downloaded the app and created your account, head to your profile section to add your details, email address, and communication preferences. Completing your profile in full unlocks a 200-point bonus.

From your app home screen or membership card section, select the option to add to Wallet. This earns you 100 bonus points and gives you quick access to your membership card at any time.

Opal accounts are individual. Each membership is tied to one person and one set of contact details.

Select ‘Forgot Password’ on the login screen and follow the instructions. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

You can request account deletion from within the app. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your profile has been removed.

Bookings & Venues

Yes. The Opal app includes direct booking functionality, allowing you to reserve a table at any partner venue without leaving the app.

The app includes a venue directory with locations, opening hours, and contact information for all partner venues. You can use our chatbot to fin out more information on menus, booking policies, private hire, special occasions, and upgrades.

Dietary information is available through the app chatbot. We always recommend informing your server directly when you arrive so they can advise you fully.

Referrals & Offers

Share your unique referral link with friends and family. Once the person you’ve referred downloads the app and begins using it, you’ll receive a bonus reward credited to your account automatically.

As an Opal member, you’ll receive personalised offers based on your dining preferences and favourite venues. These are available through the app and delivered directly to you — another benefit of keeping your profile complete and up to date.

Yes. Opal members receive a birthday offer as part of the club’s seasonal rewards. Make sure your date of birth is saved in your profile so we can celebrate with you.

Support

If a scan hasn’t registered correctly, you can submit a missing points request through the app. Follow the steps in the support section and our team will look into it for you.

You can reach the Opal support team directly through the app. For venue-specific queries — bookings, menus, events — we recommend contacting the venue directly for the fastest response.

Our in-app chatbot is on hand to help. You can also speak to a member of the team at any partner venue, we’re always happy to assist.
